Roslyn West
Roslyn graduated from The University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) in 2007 and joined the Lifespan Therapies team in 2023.
Since graduation, Roslyn has worked with clients across the life span, in acute hospital and community health settings, disability settings and then for the last 8 years focused on paediatrics within private practice. Roslyn aims to bring her sound clinical knowledge and experience to families, allowing them to help their child’s communication skills emerge.
As a mother of three children and from a neurodiverse household, Roslyn also brings lived experience to her role and is passionate about advocacy and reducing barriers to successful communication. Expect a strengths based and person centred approach, where genuine connection with your child and family is built.
Roslyn is a registered member of Speech Pathology Australia, a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP), and a registered Medicare provider.
Roslyn is a skilled singer and this delights many of the children as a wonderful additional tool in therapy. When not working she enjoys live music, hiking and spending time in nature with her family. You might also catch her cheering loudly at any number of sporting events or out walking with her two rescue dogs (beagles).
