Matt Malczweski
Hi, my name is Matthew and I started with Lifespan Therapies in 2023. I graduated from the Australian Catholic University as a Physiotherapist in 2020. Previously, I graduated with a Bachelor of Human Services, and a Diploma of Recreation.
With my Human Services qualifications I have worked for the Public Guardian, in out-of-home care services, post-school services for people with a disability, respite for children with disabilities, and family tracing for Link-Up Queensland.
With my Diploma qualifications, I worked as a personal trainer for three years. After years of working in social services and the fitness industry, I was inspired to help people create long-lasting, positive changes in their lives. Following my placement experience at the Queensland Childrens’ Hospital 3D Gait Lab, I recognised the importance of providing children with opportunities to grow in their repertoire of movement. I am passionate about building childrens’ confidence and developing their abilities through movement, fun and play. I love watching them change and grow and sharing the odd dad joke with the parents when I can think of one.
When I am not at work, I love spending time with my wife, my baby daughter Olivia, and my two dogs. I also love watching and playing football (soccer), cooking, working out at the gym, and taking care of my lawn.
